Seems Apple cancelled other contracts too, so it may not be so nefarious.  Wyze was using this company's tech for their person recognition in Wyze cams.  The partnership was nixed in December.

One more reason Apple should revisit local network storage.  I'm not a fan of photos, etc., being in the cloud anyway, and I wish the ecosystem allowed users more flexibility in their offline/backup storage options.

Yeah, what a silly assessment. God forbid Apple  learn from past launches and (1) delay the product launch to ensure they have ample supply, and (2) satisfy all orders upon launch.   One would also have to ignore the fact that Apple also realizes this is their biggest seller this year. 

Doesn’t matter, AI along with everyone else will be cheerleading after the October event about how well the launch went.

When I first used 3D Touch it reminded me of when contextual menus finally made it to the Mac.  No going back now, it's a UI gem.

Waiting to see the XR firsthand before making the jump--but I'm definitely jumping!

Apple only has laptops with backlit keyboards. A full size backlit keyboard peripheral would be nice.

The ol' heads here at AI will remember this as "Killer Bee's" rumor years ago.  It was the first thing I thought about, which means Apple has been planning this for over 10-15 years.
