Unsurprisingly, iPhone 17 rumored to come in four colors including blue

In a less than earthshaking leak, a new report claims that the expected slimline iPhone 17 Air will be issued in four different colors -- just like so many iPhone ranges before it.

Unless you're hanging on to an alpine green 2022 iPhone 13 Pro, having a colorful iPhone means having bought on of the regular models. Where the iPhone and iPhone Plus ranges get all the colors, the Pro ones rarely do.

So as the expected iPhone 17 Air is predicted to replace the iPhone 16 Pro at the lower end of the lineup, it is not shocking to hear that it will come in various colors. But leaker Majin Bu claims to know what those colors are, and has now shown an image purporting to be them.

The claimed colors for the iPhone 17 Air are:

  • Black

  • Light Blue

  • Light Gold

  • Silver



Black and Silver are even less startling claims than there being four colors, but the light blue one is interesting. While that was again rumored in July 2025, the first report claiming it was from Majin Bu back in April.

Bu acknowledges the more recent report that the blue color will be very light. But adds that his or her own sources say it resembles a clear sky -- and also the Sky Blue used on the M4 MacBook Air.

The leaker says that al four colors look elegant and sophisticated, with the gold version being "a touch of subtle refinement without being overly bold."

If you're hankering for the vibrant colors of the iPhone 5c, then, you're out of luck for another year.

    I sure hope it's not that blue; because that blue is hideous. Not that I would buy the blue one anyway.

    I know it will never happen, but I’d love to see an orange iPhone Pro. Just as long as it’s not that peachy color Apple tried to pass off as orange on the AirPods Max. I’m talking HomePod Mini orange.

    I agree completely. I think it’s a terrible color. Can’t Apple do better? Three standard colors and one . . . that’s awful.
