Napster kicked butt for getting single MP3 files, but since it's long gone what is everyone using? I've tried the gnutella clones and haven't been that happy with the results.
MacSatellite rocked. It is so frickin annoying that it doesn't work anymore.... Right now I'm stuck without any p2p file sharing method, except for some private ftp servers and carracho.
Aimster works sometimes, but I LimeWire for OS X the most. At times I can get lots of stuff, but it's still nothing compared to Napster.

Same with me. As of late, Aimster has been horrible. They better get their act together cuz I like it much better than using Limewire.
Napster was enormous. I loved that I could find rare recordings of Rockapella and various other a capella groups.
Carracho is clumsy for sharing MP3s. The approach is not geared the way Napster was... although, I admit, it is good that some servers make disk images of whole albums of MP3s add distribute them that way.

The whole world uses morpheus and most of the files are on it.
That's another downside to the mac marketshare
On average, how many hosts, files, and data do you see available when you use LimeWire?
Here's a good LimeWire question:

usually between 1000 &1500 hosts... but it fluctuates wildly.
